Beauty Contests
At the end of 1980, Miss Ohio defeated. She represented her native state at the Miss USA 1981. National Contest . She became the second representative of Ohio to receive the Miss USA title. The first winner was Sue Downey , who won in 1965 .
She participated in the international beauty contest Miss Universe 1981, held in New York. The competition was marked by the fact that it was held in the United States, after a ten-year break.
