Armen Tsolakovich Khachatryan ( Armenian Արմեն Խաչատրյան ; born March 25, 1952 , Yerevan ) is an Armenian statesman and economic leader.

Biography
- 1970-1975 - Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization of the Armenian Agricultural Institute.
- 1975-1980 - graduate school of the Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture, and from 1975-1977 - simultaneously worked as a junior researcher at the same institute. Doctor of technical sciences, professor. The author of more than 30 scientific papers, including 2 monographs and 2 textbooks.
- 1980-1982 - worked as a junior researcher at the Armagromechanizatsiya research and production association.
- 1982-1992 - held various senior positions in the apparatus of the Armenian government.
- 1992-1993 - was deputy minister of agriculture of Armenia.
- 1993-1994 - Minister-Chief of Staff of the Government of Armenia.
- 1994-1998 - Rector of the Armenian Agricultural Academy.
- 1998-2001 - again Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Armenia. Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Education. Academician of the International Academy of Viticulture and Winemaking. Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (1998). He is vice-president of the problem council of the NAS of Armenia, a member of the presidium of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Armenia, an expert in various international programs.
