Biography
Chess began to play in the chess club of Anatoly Karpov in the Russian Center in Sri Lanka [1] . Four times she won the Sri Lanka Women's Chess Championships (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013) [2] [3] [4] [5] . In 2011, she won the zonal tournament in chess in Asian countries and won the right to participate in the World Women's Championship [6] . In 2012, she made her debut in Khanty-Mansiysk at the World Chess Championship for Women , where Hou Yifan lost in the first round [7] .
Represented Sri Lanka at three chess competitions (2010, 2016, 2018) [8] [9] . She participated in the Asian Women's Team Chess Championship three times (2008–2009, 2016).
