Glukhovsky Machine Tool Plant ( Ukrainian: Glukhivsky Verstatobudivny Zavod ) is an industrial enterprise in the city of Glukhov, Sumy Region .

History
1961 - 1991
The enterprise was created on the basis of the repair shops of the Glukhov RTS in accordance with the decree of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine and the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR in accordance with the sixth five-year plan for the development of the national economy of the USSR and was commissioned on October 7, 1961 under the name Glukhovsky aggregate assembly plant . The first employees of the enterprise were the workers of repair shops [1] .
Subsequently, the enterprise was expanded (by the end of the 8th Five-Year Plan (1966 - 1970) the plant had over 300 machines for various purposes) [1] and was transformed into the Glukhovsky Machine Tool Plant .
For the first 25 years of operation, the enterprise manufactured 116,737 power heads, 14,957 rotary tables, 16,754 power tables, 5,610 drives, as well as consumer goods totaling 6,832 thousand rubles [2] .
In Soviet times, the plant was one of the leading enterprises of the city [3] [4] [5] [6] , on the balance sheet of the enterprise were objects of social infrastructure (including a factory library for 6 thousand books and several sports sections) [7] .
- in 1975, the youth vocal and instrumental ensemble “Youth” was created at the plant (in 1976 it became a laureate at the festival “Youth Komsomolskaya” in Sumy, later VIA participated in the cultural program of the Olympics-80 , performed in the Baltic States, Moscow, Kiev, and in 1984 he received the title of amateur folk ensemble) [8] .
After 1991
After the independence of Ukraine, the state enterprise was transformed into an open joint stock company .
In May 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a decision on the privatization of the plant during 1995 [9] , in the future the plant received a new name - PE Glukhovsky Machine Tool Plant "Remservice" [10] .
In 2006, the plant was one of the largest operating enterprises in the city, it manufactured turning, milling , grinding and other machines , as well as parts and spare parts for them [11] .
The economic crisis that began in 2008 complicated the activity of the enterprise. In April 2008, the plant was transformed into a limited liability company, the company "Salver" became the owner of the enterprise.
