Chinese tank

The purpose of creating the album was Grigoryan’s desire to play more modern music, so from the very beginning a lot of attention was paid to sound production and arrangements.

... The recording of the first album of the new project took a lot of time - more than a year. Work was on every note, the song was first modeled, then any instruments that would be interesting were selected. The process was very exciting and interesting, because for each song we were looking for new sounds, new forms, and tried to do something exciting and non-standard - first of all, for ourselves. The concert presentation of the album "Chinese Tank" took place on May 19, 2006 at CDK MAI ( Moscow ). The Fly studio shot a video for the title track of the album.

• "Chinese Tank" is the first of the planned albums of a solo project. Several English-language versions of the songs have been created, negotiations are underway with foreign companies. ^[one]
• The program "Chinese Tank" was presented at the rock festivals "Wings" (07/29/2006) and "Invasion" (05/05/2006).
• In March 2006, the title track of the album took fifth place in The Chart Dozen of Our Radio. ^[2]
• The song "Ragtime" gained wide popularity as the musical leitmotif of the Russian series " Students ".
