Radio hill (hill)

Radiogorka is a hill in the west of the north side of Sevastopol . It is limited from the south by Sevastopol Bay , from the west by the Black Sea (west coast), from the north by a beam in the area of Uchkuevka park , from the east by Mikhailovsky beam .

The hill got its name due to the fact that in 1901, during experiments with the radio transmission of Alexander Popov, there was one of the radios here. The radio was installed above the Konstantinovsky battery .

On a hill there are multi-storey residential district Radiogorka , private and suburban development, military units. In the west there is a park to them. 35th anniversary of Victory and Tolstoy beach (from the name of Cape Tolstoy ).
