Biography

Born January 15, 1807 in Luccbeby ( Bleking ) in the family of Jean Christopher Lindblum.

He studied at Lund University , graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, in 1826 received a Ph.D. From 1831 he taught philosophy at the university, from 1833 to 1845 he was a professor of theoretical and practical philosophy. In 1851, he decided to leave the study of philosophy.

In his free time he studied the local flora. In 1839 he founded the botanical magazine Botaniska Notiser , until 1846 he was its editor in chief.

He died on April 15, 1853 in Ronneby .
