Valery Yuryevich Dobroslavsky ( Dobroslav ) ( May 19, 1965 ; Lugansk — June 7, 1997 Lugansk ) is an influential Lugansk businessman , the criminal authority of the 1990s [1] . In 1996, during a sociological survey conducted in Lugansk, he took the third place in the list of the most famous Luhansk residents, ahead of such countrymen as Vladimir Dal and Klim Voroshilov [2]

Biography
Valery Dobroslavsky started in the late 1980s, returning to the city after the army, in 1990 he had a steady “brigade” created and headed by him with rigid discipline, consisting of former athletes, the Dobroslav brigade took tribute from local entrepreneurs. Even then, he was one of the most powerful and influential people in the city. In the future, the influence and power of Dobroslavsky only grew, and soon he became the unofficial sole criminal head of the region.
One of the first criminal authorities of Ukraine, Valery Dobroslavsky, began to legalize his business [2]
"Imperial Business LTD" became its first legal enterprise, which was registered on April 12, 1995. Then dozens of other structures were created. In general, “Dobroslav” controlled most of the business of the Luhansk region. [3]
According to the recollections of eyewitnesses, cruelty, generosity, justice and the ability to negotiate with people and find a common language were noted. [2] [3]
Murder
On the night of June 6-7, 1997, unknown persons began firing a grenade launcher and three Kalashnikov assault rifles at Zhiguli and Toyota cars, in which Dobroslavsky and his friends were driving. Later, a pipe from an RPG-26 grenade launcher , two automatic rifles and about 120 automatic shells was found at the crime scene. V. Dobroslavsky and two of his guards were killed by their wounds. According to the official version of the investigation, the murder customer was a gang of Yevgeny Kushnir , and the performer was Sergei Kulev, who belonged to the group of Valery Pushnyakov. But this version has been criticized, and among the actual customers and organizers of the murder they called the Donetsk ones probable [2] [3] . It is also worth considering the factor that in the period from 1997 to 1998 there were many high-profile murders of criminal authorities throughout Ukraine. Many who managed to avoid the assassinations disappeared outside the CIS. New groupings have not arisen and the old leaders have not been replaced. In fact, the concepts of organized racketeering and extortion by crime ceased to exist as early as 2000. They were replaced by the "roofing" of business by security agencies. From which another version is built, that all the eliminations were carefully planned and implemented by the special services of Ukraine.
After the death of Dobroslav, the “Lugansk clan”, which he headed and which later was accused of Vladimir Struk , [5] Alexey Danilov [6] and others, collapsed, and the Lugansk region came under the control of the “Donetsk”. [2]
