In a modern review on the AllMusic website , critic Bart Bilmiar speaks highly of the album and gives it 4.5 stars out of 5. He concludes his review with the words:
| By the end, Flaunt It is running out of steam, but this is only because the remaining three tracks have an almost impossible task to compete with the most extreme / extravagant of all the extreme / extravagant rock and rolls that the world has ever heard. Sigue Sigue Sputnik succeeded in creating the greatest rock and roll fantasy, full of frantic, futuristic images that were caricatured but (if you listened carefully enough) often (surprisingly) wanted to say something. |
