Biography
Born on August 19, 1921 in Prilep in a craft family. He graduated from elementary school and entered the gymnasium in Bitola . He led a literary page in the journal Podmladak, published in the city of Kragujevac . He published there his philosophical works, which he wrote at the age of 17. After he moved to Prilep, where he studied in circles. After graduating from high school, he entered the medical faculty of the University of Belgrade . Participated repeatedly in demonstrations and clashes with the police. Since 1939, a member of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia . Upon arrival in Prilep, he joined a local revolutionary organization, spoke on August 2, 1940 at the large Ilindan demonstration, and after its completion was arrested by the police and sent to prison in Ada Tsiganlii .
Soon Borko was sent to the camp Medjurechye-Ivanitsa. In April 1941, he returned to Prilep and joined the local CPY committee. On June 23, 1941, after the German attack on the USSR, he delivered a speech at an emergency party meeting in which he emphasized the importance of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany. From the beginning of July in the ranks of the People's Liberation Army of Yugoslavia , from September he was a member of the Politburo. October 11 participated in the campaign on Prilep, which became the beginning of the national liberation struggle in Macedonia .
Borko opposed the pro-Bulgarian mood in the Macedonian party leadership, criticizing the Methodology of Shatorov , and in December 1941 came under the supervision of the Bulgarian Communist Party . In a letter to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, he expressed his negative attitude towards the pro-Bulgarian moods in the partisan movement, thereby aggravating disagreements. At the beginning of 1942 he was expelled from the regional committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and remained in isolation.
March 2, 1942 Borko Taleski and Lazo Kolevsky died near the village of Pletvar in a shootout with the Bulgarian police.
By a decree of the Presidium of the People's Assembly of the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia of July 5, 1951, he was awarded the title of People's Hero of Yugoslavia.
