Gameplay
Bendy and The Ink Machine is a survival horror with puzzle elements. A player controls a hero named Henry Stein. Former employee of the studio Joey Drew Studios must get out of the trap into which he fell, and at the same time reveal all the secrets of the studio. The game itself is played in first-person view . Our task is to wander around the studio and solve simple puzzles. To fight ink monsters, melee weapons are used: ax, plunger, syringe, metal pipe; also in chapter 3 you can get a tommy machine . To restore health, Henry can eat bacon soup (which is a reference to the creator of TheMeatly). If the hero died, then he will be reborn at the nearest statue of Bendy. Throughout the game, there are also scattered audio recordings of studio employees who reveal their characters, as well as their attitude to any events and Joey himself.
Characters
- Henry Stein is the main protagonist of the game. From the first chapter it is known that 30 years ago [1] he worked at the animation studio Joey Drew Studio and was friends with the head of the studio Joey Drew. The appearance of the hero is unknown: in the chapter “Archives”, which contains all the character models from the very beginning of development, there is a pedestal with his name, but without information on his appearance - the game does not have its model, which is why it is not reflected in the mirror. Henry is a very quiet and calm person, rarely expressing emotions more than a little shock or a little annoyance at the sight of strange events in the studio. As a co-founder of Joey’s studio, he was a very punctual worker, as evidenced by his statements that he always arrives on time when he punches a card at the counter, and when Joey Drew is surprised that Henry arrived an hour earlier than he expected. Appears in all chapters.
- Joey Drew is an old friend of Henry and the director of Joey Drew Studio , a well-known creation of popular cartoons about Bendy in the distant past. It is he who invites Henry to the studio to "show him something" [2] . An ambitious perfectionist and dreamer, “generator of ideas”; believes that by faith you can achieve anything. At first glance, he looks like a cheerful, caring, passionate person who wants others to fulfill their dreams, but, as you can see from the entry in the fourth chapter, all this is just a “mask”, since in reality he is greedy, selfish , a heartless person who cares only about his own benefit and is ready to do anything to have everything. Apparently, even sacrificing others, if only his wish came true. As can be seen from the recording, Joey ordered his employee to turn off the recording, although for a long time he did not notice that it was turned on, this may indicate that he did not notice some things [3] . In all chapters appears as a record, and only at the end of the 5th chapter directly.
- Sammy Lawrence is the director of music at Joey Drew Studio . Impatient and irritable, has a sarcastic and rude disposition. In the third chapter, “Alice” mentioned Sammy as a “handsome man”, which suggests that he had an attractive appearance. In the recordings, Sammy was shown as a disappointed composer who showed a rude and sarcastic disposition. Sammy annoyed Joey's new project, because because of him, a large number of pipes were leaked to the music department, which leaked and thus distracted from work. Judging by the notes, it was hard for Sammy to concentrate on work, when there were a lot of distractions around, which apparently led to the creation of her own refuge. First appears in chapter 2 as entries. Later he became an ink "preacher ".
- Susie Campbell is a young woman who dreams of becoming a famous actress. From her notes you can find out that before voicing Angel Alice, she voiced the background characters [4] . In the third chapter, if you go along the “ Way of the Angel ”, it turns out that she had dinner with Joey and she had very good impressions of him [5] . She claimed that she “very related” to her character and was extremely upset when Joey appointed another actress to the role of Alice. First appears in chapter 2 as a recording. It later became a distorted version of Alice Angel.
- Norman Polk is a projectionist at Joey Drew Studios. The first to begin to notice oddities in the behavior of colleagues. Extremely inquisitive and constantly eavesdrops on the conversations of his colleagues, which greatly annoyed them. Skeptical of Joey. Chapter 2 contains his entry, which is the key to solving the puzzle with Sammy's song. First appears in chapter 2 as a recording. Later became an Ink Spotlight .
- Wally Franks is a janitor. One of the few who did not become a monster. I noticed some oddities in the behavior of my colleagues, especially Joey. Describes himself as an “ordinary worker” whose only concern is to complete his work in the studio. From the fourth record, he seems cunning, lazy and somewhat boastful [6] . Because of the ink machine, he constantly threatened that he would “Dump”, because it was constantly leaking and it was necessary to clean up a huge stream of ink behind it . In the 5th chapter, in the last record, it turned out that he had eaten someone else's cake and believed that he deserved it [7] . It also turned out that he left after Joey's studio went bankrupt. Throughout the game, he left his notes, but he did not appear. Favorite phrase: " I'm getting out of here! "
- Thomas Connor is a Gent mechanic in charge of the Ink Machine. Later he was engaged in the repair of the elevator, but in the end he simply said that he would walk up the stairs. Thomas Connor is an annoying, often dissatisfied, and very serious employee who has problems with trust, as can be seen from his joint recording with Wally Franks in Chapter Three [8] . Despite his changeable temperament, he was shown to be a hardworking worker and an attentive expert, as can be seen from the report on the work done by Gent. After Joey's studio went bankrupt, he married Allison Pendle . Appeared as entries in the 1st, 3rd and 5th chapters. Later became the " Tom ".
- Sean Flynn - Creates a variety of toys based on cartoon characters from Joey Drew Studio . Not much can be said about him. Once, through his fault, one of the games of Bendy’s toys turned out to be a “ crooked smile ”, because of which he fell under Joey’s hot hand. He speaks with a pronounced Irish accent, as he was voiced by video blogger Sean William McLaughlin ( JackSepticEye ). Appears only as an entry in Chapter 3.
- Grant Cohen is an accountant at Joey Drew Studio . Judging by the last name, a Jew. First appears in chapter 3 as a record. Hates Joey for spending huge amounts of money on don't understand what. In the 4th chapter there is an office where the walls are covered with the phrases “Time is money”, “Doesn’t converge”, “Taxes”. From the record you can understand that he became an ink monster, but neither in the 4th nor the 5th he is not. He was voiced by video blogger Will Ryan ( DAGames ).
- Lacey Benton is an employee in the development department of the Bendy Land theme park. She speaks in a practically male voice with a strong southern accent. She hates and despises her colleagues, seeing in them only lazy fools. Therefore, she likes to work herself, without outside interference. In chapter 4, he appears only as a record in which he states that the mechanical arm of Bendy's animatronics is moving.
- Bertram Piedmont is the director of the Bendy Land amusement park and part-time creator of it. Bertram is very proud and selfish. He is very proud of the theme parks that he created, saying that they are all huge miracles and that he worked on them for forty years. He also said that he earned his legacy by blood and sweat. He does not bear disrespect to himself. He really did not like that Joey Drew constantly said that an amusement park was a waste of time, and then appropriated his own merits in creating the park for himself. [9] Appears in chapter 4 as entries. Later in the same chapter appears as one of the bosses. To some extent, he became a monster chained to a carousel .
- Allison Pendle / Connor - Little can be learned about Allison. She began to voice Angela Alice , replacing Susie . After the bankruptcy of Joey's studio, she married Thomas . Appeared in the 4th chapter as the “ living version ” of Alice Angel.
- Jack Fane is a member of Joey Drew's studio. He wrote lyrics for Sammy . From his record it is known that he loves silence. He also admires the songs of Sammy Lawrence, saying that they were always a bit “formal” [10] . Appeared in the 2nd chapter as a record, and then as a monster.
- Linda - no one knows who she is, familiar with Henry . Drawing on Henry's notes from the teasers for chapter five, Linda and Henry are in close relationship. [11] Appears only as a mention from Henry. Nothing is known about her.
Animated Characters
The main cartoon characters are Bendy, Boris and Alice.
- Bendy is a character from cartoons created by Joey Drew Studio . The game is the main antagonist. Bendy is a cartoon character based on the Devil, which, like other older cartoon characters, has only two colors - black and white. His cheerful appearance expresses a wide, toothy smile and Pacman's eyes stylized. He has no neck - his head just hangs over his body. He wears black shoes, a white bow-tie and a pair of gloves that are very reminiscent of Mickey Mouse gloves. The shape of his head resembles cartoonish "horns." Bendy shows an impatient, shy and timid disposition, while he is also cheerful and mischievous, as his diabolical nature implies. The appearance of Bendy can be based on a combination of Cat Felix and Mickey Mouse. His fiendish horns also resemble Mandy from the animated series The Terrible Adventures of Billy and Mandy . Appears throughout the game as posters, toys and cardboard layouts.
- Boris Wolf (born Boris the Wolf) is one of the cartoon characters about Bendy . First appeared in the animated film “Sheep Songs!” . He is a tall wolf, dressed in pants with suspenders. He also wears black shoes and, like other cartoon characters, wears a pair of white gloves. He has a blush and freckles on his cheeks, and long ears raised up. He, like the rest of the cartoon characters, has the same shape of cartoon eyes. Unlike real wolves, Boris has no tail. In the cartoons, Boris shows his great love for food. He has a simple-minded attitude to everything, and he is little worried about everything that happens around him. When someone interferes with his activities, Boris may get angry. From the Haunted Hijinx cartoon, it’s clear that Boris is a little deceiver and can outwit many characters, for example, when he puts on a ghost costume to scare Bendy away, just to take his basket with sweets. Boris is interested in playing the clarinet, as seen in the episode “Sheep Songs!” . From the episode “ Snow Sillies, ” Boris is portrayed as an opportunist when he picks up a carrot that Bendy wanted to use for a snowman’s nose. Appears throughout some chapters as posters and toys. The appearance of Boris is based on the cartoon character of Disney - Goofy .
- Angel Alice (born Alice Angel) is a cartoon character in the Bendy cartoon series that appeared in the second chapter of the game. Her first appearance happened on the poster "Sent From Above" . She is supposed to be Bendy's girlfriend. Alice is like a human being, being both a demon and an angel. She has slightly wavy black hair, thin eyebrows, lips, black lipstick and a mole on her right cheek under her eye. Dressed in a black evening dress with a bow that looks like a Bendy bow tie. Two loincloths are visible on the legs. Like all other characters, wears large white gloves with a circle inside them. She has the hallmarks of a demon and an angel, such as a pair of small horns and a halo over her head. Based on the inscription “She sings! She dances! ” From the“ Sent From Above ”poster, Alice has a talent for dancing and singing. As I hear from the song “I'm Alice Angel,” she is sweet and a little careless, as her angelic nature implies. The game appears in some chapters as cardboard layouts, posters and toys.
Alice's design is a combination between Betty Boop and Minnie Mouse .
- The Butcher Gang is a cartoon character in the Bendy series of animated films named Charlie , Barley, and Edgar . First appearing in the animated film The Butcher Gang . Appear in the game as posters. 1. Charlie - Charlie is the highest of the gang. He looks like a bald, chimpanzee-like humanoid with large ears, black nose, black beard and whiskers. He wears a T-shirt, black tie and black shoes. Head of the Butcher's Gang . Charlie is cunning, impatient and hot-tempered. He is agile when it comes to money, this is evident when no one notices that he took the money from the box office in the cartoon Tasty Trio Troubles . 2. Barley - Barley looks like a pirate or a sailor with a white beard, with an eye patch for his right eye, wears a hat and belt, a pair of white gloves and holds the pipe in his mouth. On his shoulders there is something like the windows for a ship. He is serious enough and gloomy. He doesn’t really like the routine, which seems to tire him, this can be seen in the cartoon Tasty Trio Troubles . Barley's design is partly based on Popeye .
- 3. Edgar - Edgar looks like a spider-like creature with three pairs of legs, large lips, small ears and a pair of pointed fangs. He, unlike the other members of the Butcher’s Gang, Edgar demonstrates a cheerful, infantile and playful disposition, rather than a tendency to wreck. The design of Edgar is similar to the appearance of the antagonist spider from the cartoon about Betty Boop "Mother Goose Land."
Disfigured Trio and Ink Monsters
- Ink Bendy is the main antagonist. The final boss. Ink Bendy looks like a distorted figure of a skeleton, covered in ink resembling tar. His head is very reminiscent of the image of the original Bendy, but the upper part of his head runs out of ink, closing his eyes. Its horns are slightly curved and directed on the outside. His mouth is constantly open and sometimes shakes. As can be seen from the side view of his head, the front and back of the head are quite flat. His spine is slightly bent, similar to scoliosis. Its slightly bent back has sharp spiky vertebrae. His left hand is slightly longer than his right, and looks thinner and less like a human hand. On his left hand he wears a large white glove, on which there are no two black dots, like cartoon Bendy. His right hand seems a little smaller, and more like a human hand. His legs are also not identical to each other, his right leg is vaguely reminiscent of a man’s leg, which can not be said about his left leg - the lower part of the leg is completely covered with ink, which is why Inky Bendy is lame. He also wears a bow tie that is closer to the middle of his chest, which is identical in appearance to the cartoony Bendy's bow tie, except that it is slightly larger and slightly tilted to the left, giving the whole Ink Bandy a deformed shape. First appears in chapter 1 after activating the Ink Machine . Hunts for Henry throughout all five chapters. However, in the 4th he defended Henry from the Searchlight . At the end of the 5th, “ releases his inner demons ” and becomes the Brutal Bendy . At the end of the game, he dies. (It’s strange that even a Tommy machine doesn’t take it, but at the same time it dies from the inscription “ End ”).
- Boris Wolf is one of Henry's few allies. Outwardly, it is no different from the cartoon embodiment. During a physical appearance in the 2nd and 3rd chapters, he appears as dumb, with almost no sound. When he and the hero explore the studio, he is scared when there is any enemy nearby, most often it is noticeable when Ink Bandy passes nearby.
- Alice Angel is a minor antagonist. Hybrid of Alice Angela and Susie Campbell with medium long straight black hair, slender eyebrows and black lipstick. On it is the Angelic halo that has grown into her head, and also has a pair of devilish horns. All her hands are covered in black, which resemble sleeve gloves, but she does not wear white gloves, like the original Alice. Unlike her, she wears black tights for legs and shoes. Also on her back is a bow, which, apparently, did not have cartoon Alice. The left side of her face looks creepy, as if "molten." He is a skilled manipulator. She forced Henry to carry out his assignments under the pretext of his release from the studio. "Alice" was incredibly conceited and obsessed with her beauty and perfection, and would do anything to preserve her. This is evident in the numerous dead clones of Boris, Pipers, Fishers, and Strikers. As can be seen from the fact that she will try to become beautiful by any necessary means. She also had signs of psychosis, because her mood often changes: at one moment she will cry, but then she will immediately begin to laugh manically. She also has a constant fear of other ink monsters, as she is afraid that they will drag her back into the “dark puddles” . Deeply dislike Ink Bendy . Sometimes she is very impatient, as evidenced by Henry's order to bring her ink hearts. Alice’s physical voice seems demonic and constantly changing. From time to time, she can hear two voices simultaneously. Sometimes, albeit briefly, her voice may change to a voice similar to the original voice of Angel Alice. Appears in the 3rd chapter “live” and gives the protagonist a series of quests for finding objects. I saw in Boris a "good donner" stole him. In the 4th chapter, she set a Boris monster on Henry, and was later killed by her good version.
- Sammy is a minor antagonist. One of the bosses. Sammy Lawrence’s ink form is a black man with a bare torso covered with ink, except for pants and shoes that are stained with ink and a mask with a hole in the top of his teeth that allows him to breathe. He has no eyes, no mouth, no nose, no ears, and likewise, no hair on his head. Unlike his human personality, Sammy became fanatical and quite mentally unstable, as well as falling into despair. Bendy worshiped as his “ savior ” and offered him human sacrifices in order to reassure him with a method similar to Satanic rituals. As a person, Sammy was not predisposed to murder in his earlier recordings, but seemed to have been driven insane by unnatural distortions before Henry returned to the workshop 30 years later. He is quite calm and mysterious in his "ink shell". His main desire is to get rid of the inky “prison” with which he calls his body. Later during the ritual, Ink Bendy attacked him and nearly killed him. After that, Sammy’s already shaken psyche completely staggered and turned into a crazy shadow of his personality. His voice changed randomly: from shortness of breath to complete anger in tone with an additional demonic effect. He was so distraught that in the 5th chapter, he saw his “ messiah ” in Henry and tried to kill him for his betrayal. First appears in chapter 2 live. He wanted to sacrifice Henry in order to return his real body, but the ritual did not go according to plan, and Sammy almost died. He later appeared as one of the bosses in chapter 5, and was later killed by Tom .
- Ink Spotlight - a creature with a projector instead of a head, wandering in one of the rooms of the studio and attacking everyone it sees. Former Norman Regiment . It is a humanoid figure, completely covered in ink and with a projector instead of a head. It has black, long wires behind the back that are connected to the back of the head. One of the wires is attached to the right and left hand, and the other to the right leg. A bobbin has grown into the left shoulder. A large speaker is attached to the chest. If you look very closely, you can see that he wears a shirt with rolled up sleeves, pants with a rolled up left leg and a pair of large boots. On the hands, apparently, gloves were preserved. The searchlight makes sounds that resemble rattling chains. Human intelligence completely disappeared, and it turned into a wild and cruel monster, but usually behaves calmly, but exactly until someone is in its field of vision. He is able to emit light from the projector and thus illuminate the surrounding area, like a flashlight on a helmet of a miner. Henry can hide in the station of " Little Miracle " from his light, so as not to be seen. If Henry nevertheless comes under the light or begins to attack him, the Spotlight becomes furious, emits a loud roar and begins to pursue Henry. When located nearby, the Searchlight immediately begins to beat him with his hands. The searchlight ceases to pursue Henry if he escapes too far or hides in the Little Miracle station. Appears in chapter 3 as one of the mini-bosses; can be killed (if you kill him, get the achievement "The Fate of Norman".) However, whether you killed him or not, he will appear in the 4th chapter, where Ink Bendy will finally kill him.
Bertram is one of the bosses of the game. Former director and creator of Bendy Land Park has decided to get even with former employer Joey Drew.
Its appearance is based on an octopus-style carousel. He has four mechanical “arms”, with three seats on each of them, as well as two bolts on each side of the arms. The base of the attraction has a decorative finish. In the middle of the carousel is his face. Hands, upper part and lower part are covered with luminous bulbs. Inside Bertram itself is a huge, incorporeal, human-like head with a large nose, mustache, eyebrows, black hair, bulging eyes with a stunned look and an open mouth, from which an ink smudge comes. There are swollen veins on the left side of the face, near the eyebrow and on the right side of the forehead. Also on the left side next to the ear, there are slight swellings. No matter which side Henry wouldn’t be from, Bertram’s head would always be turned towards him.
At the beginning of the battle, he begins to move his hands clockwise and against it. Then, he stops for a short period of time, and begins to hit the ground with two “hands”, trying to hit Henry. For the first time, he hits the table, destroying it along with the player, thus making available the ax that is needed to defeat him. From time to time during the battle, he will stop for a more powerful blow with two claws, after which there will be a short pause in order to rest before the next attack.
Appears in the 4th chapter as a boss.
If you press the English key "E" and hover over the booth, then Henry will be able to ride on it. This unlocks the Crazy Ride achievement.
- Massive Jack - Former Jack Fin . Jack is a massive seeker . Outwardly, he has only two differences from them - the “Bowler hat”, which he wore as a man and the valve in his hands. Jack, just like the rest of the massive seekers, emits only soft moans and does not attack Henry. Jack will always, when Henry approaches, hide in ink to move to another part of the room. Appears in chapter 2 as an ink monster. Holds the valve necessary for Henry. When he is killed, Henry has nightmare visions.
- "Tom" is an ink version of Thomas Connor . One of Henry's few allies. Together with Allison Angel , Henry comes to the rescue. He is very similar to Boris, differs only in that instead of his left hand he has a mechanical prosthesis and a stern look. At the beginning of the fifth chapter, he makes it clear that he does not like Henry. When Henry encounters Sammy and nearly dies, Tom comes up behind and kills Sammy .
- "Angel Allison" is an ink version of Allison . One of Henry's few allies. Together with Tom , Henry came to the rescue and killed "Angel Alice . " Later, she began to take care of Henry, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, she had to leave Henry. After killing Sammy , he becomes an ally of Henry.
- The Butcher Gang - one of the types of enemies. Firsthand they appear in the 3rd chapter and are hostile to the main character. Later they become ordinary enemies. Found in the 3rd, 4th and 5th chapters. 1. Piper - He is an imperfect physical embodiment of a cartoon character named Charlie - one of the members of the Butchers Gang. Of all three butchers, he is the most similar to himself from the original cartoon. 2. Fisher - He is an imperfect physical embodiment of a cartoon character named Barley - one of the members of the Butchers Gang. Fisher is one of the butchers who is able to clearly pronounce certain words, for example, at times he may say “ Hit me! Hit me! ”Or“ Yes! ” ". He can also say the phrase " Arr, it's cold, " which is how he differs from others. 3. Striker - He is an imperfect physical embodiment of a cartoon character named Edgar - one of the members of the Butchers Gang. Unlike the other butchers, the appearance of Stryker is most distorted. The striker is quite different from its animated original. The head resembles the head of the animated Barley, and the body belongs to the animated Edgar. There are also some more details from these two characters.
- Searchers are the main enemies in the game. There are different types of seekers: regular, massive, mini-bosses, miners, boss . Searchers resemble legless humanoid figures made entirely of ink. They have smooth, flexible bodies, the lower of which seems to melt in ink. During movement, leave an ink trail. On their faces you can see a wide open mouth, indentations in place of the eyes and wide, movable eyebrows.
- Lost - groups of ink monsters. Outwardly similar to people, but they are completely covered in ink, along and across. Their eyes glow yellowish-orange. First appear in the 4th chapter, they act as neutral characters. In the 5th they become enemies.
- The giant hand is one of the bosses of the game. It is impossible to kill him, only to flee. Being in the ink river takes everything that comes to hand. It looks like Ink Bendy's left hand sticking out of the Ink River. However, it has two significant differences: a huge amount of irregularities on the glove and ink-dipped fingertips. Appears only in chapter 5, when Henry crosses the river.
Story
Chapter One: Moving Pictures
The player controls a former animator named Henry Stein, who receives an invitation to his old workplace - animation studio Joey Drew Studios , owned by his old best friend - Joey Drew . Upon arrival, Henry finds an empty studio, painted walls and ink dripping from the ceiling. Having studied everything, he finds the mutilated corpse of Boris Wolf - the cartoon character Joey. Finding the Ink Machine , Henry collects six items in the studio (Bendy's plush toy, The Illusion of Life book, gear, record, inkwell, wrench) needed to power the ink machine.
After restoring power to the machine, Henry again goes into the room with the ink machine, but when he approaches the entrance, it turns out that the passage is boarded up. Henry comes up and Ink Bendy jumps out from behind the boards. Henry runs away, and when he almost reaches the door, the floor beneath him suddenly falls, and Henry finds himself in a secret underground room, flooded with ink. Walking further down the corridor, he enters a room with two coffins and a pentagram depicted in ink on the floor. The hero has hallucinations: he sees Ink Bendy, a wheelchair and Ink machine, after which he falls unconscious.
Chapter Two: The Old Song
Henry woke up in the center of the pentagram and decides that he needs to get out. Taking the ax in his hands and breaking the boards, he opens the door and finds himself in the music department. The director of the department is Sammy Lawrence . Sammy appears when the player passes through the ink-flooded corridor, Henry tries to hail him, but to no purpose. Going a little further and opening the electric door, the hero enters the music department itself, where he is attacked by enemies - seekers . Realizing that the exit is blocked by ink, the hero decides to find a way to pump out the ink, but as luck would have it, the door with the necessary lever is blocked by ink. Having found the keys of the cleaner Wally Franks , and having listened to Sammy's record about his favorite song (by the way, it is generated by chance), Henry solves the puzzle with the projector and opens the passage to Sammy's shelter. There, he activates the first valve for pumping ink in the infirmary. Going there and killing several seekers, the hero discovers that the necessary valve was stolen by someone. Having selected the valve from Massive Jack , Henry pumps out ink at the door with a lever.
After, having cleared the path, he goes to the exit, but he is suddenly stunned. Henry wakes up bound Sammy in the center of the pentagram. Sammy says he wants to sacrifice Henry to the ink demon . But the ritual didn’t go according to plan, and Sammy was killed by Ink Bendy , after which the demon goes to the main character. Fleeing, Henry goes to the ink pool and there appears Bendy who is chasing the main character. Through the hallway labyrinth, Henry goes to the open door, which immediately slams behind him. In front of him, an overturned bank rolls out, and around the corner comes out ......... Boris ?
Chapter Three: Rises and Falls
Henry wakes up in the utility room and discovers that Boris is also here. Having cooked the soup for Boris, he gives Henry the lever that opens the door, and then follows the protagonist. Then Henry picks up a flashlight, and along the right route he and Boris walk toward the door. Once at a dead end, Boris crawls through the ventilation and opens the door. As a result, Henry finds himself in a branch of a toy production studio (while mentioning that he does not remember such a division) and turns on the car, freeing his way into a new room. The song of Angela Alice begins to sound, at the end of which her “live” version appears, which breaks the screen on one of the walls and runs away. Recovering, Henry chooses one of two ways:
“ To the Demon ” (going there, the player learns more about Joey and his character).
“ To the Angel ” (going there, the player learns more about Suzy and her dreams and how these dreams were destroyed).
The hero encounters Boris (who gives him a piece of the pipe as a weapon), as well as new enemies - the Myasnikov Gang . The elevator located at "level K" takes Henry and Boris to the 9th floor, where the room of Angel Alice is located. This room is a hall flooded with ink, in which there are a huge number of dead clones of Boris and members of the Butcher’s Gang. Alice mentions that “ their parts were needed to make me perfect, ” and agrees to let Henry go if he does her job: “collect four gears, four batteries, and four servings of particularly heavy ink, break fifteen cardboard bendy layouts, pick up five ink hearts and crack down on the Butcher’s Gang. " For this, Alice gives Henry various items: plunger, wrench, huge syringe, ax and Thompson machine gun (the latter can be obtained if you follow certain rules [12] ). When performing the task "to collect five ink hearts, you will be disturbed by the Spotlight - an ink monster with a projector instead of a head that wanders on the 14th floor.
And from time to time (especially after the task with cardboard figures), Ink Bendy appears - “ ink cobwebs ” on the walls warn of his approach. When you notice these " cobwebs ", you need to hide in the " Little Miracle Station ", located everywhere on the floors. When all the tasks are completed, Alice says that Henry will let go, and he again gets on the elevator and goes up, Boris also goes with him, which infuriates Alice - this is “the most perfect Boris ” that she needs to “ make her beautiful again, ”and the elevator drops sharply down. The chapter ends with Boris bringing Henry to his senses, not noticing that Alice is approaching him from behind, and after Henry sees Alice pulling Boris away, after which the elevator falls on Level S.
Chapter Four: Great Miracles
The chapter begins with the hero coming to his senses next to a broken elevator on floor S near the office of Grant Cohen . Finding a valve in the office from the door to the archives, Henry finds himself in a round room full of books and notes (before that, he sees a group of ink-like mannequins near the statue of Bendy who do not attack; later they disappear). To enter the next zone you need to find and click on 5 books that open a secret passage;
