Khazri ( azerb. Xəzri , also called Absheron or Baku north ) is a cold North Caspian sea wind that blows through the Absheron peninsula for a year, especially near Baku . Khazri is a coastal wind with a strong storm and one of the prevailing winds in the area. Due to the fact that the speed of the Khazri sometimes reaches 40 m / s, it damages some sectors of the economy, although it provides a cool temperature in summer [1] . Khazri is the opposite of , a warm south wind that is usually felt in summer [2] .
Khazri found cultural reflection in both poetry and painting of Azerbaijan. February 11, 2016 in the Baku gallery "Natavan" the opening of an exhibition of modern painting called "Winds of Absheron" [3] .
