Biography and career
Brian Larkin was born on August 7, 1973 in Glasgow , in a family of midwives and mechanics of the Royal Air Force. As a teenager he was engaged in bodybuilding and won several competitions in Scotland. After some time, became interested in cinema and began to study at the acting school in Glasgow.
He made his debut in 2002, starring in the British independent film Just Around the Corner. In the 2000s, starred in short films, sometimes wrote scripts for them and directed. In 2006 and 2009, for the films Scene. And Running in Traffic, respectively, received two BAFTA Scotland awards . In 2013, Larkin played the main role, the brutal and charismatic commander of Soviet soldiers Dolokhov, in the action movie / horror film β Hell's Bunker: The Rise of the Special Forces β and gained first fame.
