Club career
Vukovich began his career playing for the clubs " Parramatta Power " and " Bonnirig White Eagles ." In the summer of 2005, Danny moved to the Central Coast Mariners . In his match against Melbourne Victory, he made his A-League debut after main goalkeeper John Crowley was injured. In 2008, Vukovich helped the team win the championship. In 2010, Danny signed a two-year contract with the Turkish club Konyaspor , but after it turned out that the team had an excess of foreign players, he left the team [3] .
In the same year, Danny signed a contract with the New Zealand Wellington Phoenix . In the match against Sydney, he made his debut for a new team. On February 13, 2011, Vukovich scored a goal against North Queensland Fury , scoring a penalty at the end of the second half [4] .
In 2011, Vukovich moved to Perth Glory , signing a contract for three years. On October 9, in his match against Adelaide United , he made his debut for a new club [5] . In 2014, Danny transferred to the Japanese Vegalta Sendai on a semi-annual lease. On March 19, in the Japan Cup match against Shimizu S-Pals , he made his debut for the club [6] . After the lease ended, Vukovich returned to Perth Glory.
In the summer of 2015, Danny moved to Melbourne Victory , replacing Nathan Coe and Michael Turnbull, who completed their careers. On October 9, in his match against Adelaide United, he made his debut for a new team [7] . In his debut season, Vukovich helped the club win the Australian Cup . In the summer of 2016, Danny joined Sydney with a two-year contract. On October 8, in his match against Western Sydney Wanderers , he made his debut for a new team [8] . In 2017, Vukovich helped the club win the championship, and he was recognized as the best goalkeeper.
In the summer of 2017, Danny moved to the Belgian Genk . On August 4, in a match against Liège 's Standard , he made his debut in the Jupe League [9] .
International Career
March 27, 2018 in a friendly match against the Colombian national team, Vukovich made his debut for the Australian national team [10] . In the same year, Danny took part in the 2018 World Cup in Russia . At the tournament he was a substitute and did not enter the field.
