Biography
Position - the first director, according to other sources, the head of the First Branch of the Imperial Hermitage .
The title is a real state adviser .
He taught French to Tsarevich Alexander Nikolayevich (future Emperor Alexander II ).
Acted as a court librarian and head of the Tsarskoye Selo Arsenal.
In 1858 he made a trip to the Caucasus , following the results of which he published travel notes.
He committed suicide.
