Galim Mukhametzyanovich Mukhametzyanov (1908, the village of Tatarskaya Abyss, Buinsky district, Simbirsk province - 10.5.1938, Kazan) - activist of the CPSU (b) , 2nd secretary of the Tatar Oblast Committee. He was a member of the special trio of the NKVD of the USSR .

Biography
Galim Mukhametzyanovich Mukhametzyanov was born in 1908 in the village of Tatarskaya Abyss of Buinsky district of the Simbirsk province (now Drozhenovsky district, Tatarstan). In 1930 he joined the CPSU (b). His whole life was connected with work in Komsomol and party structures.
- December 1932 - January 1936 - 1st Secretary of the Tatar Regional Committee of the Komsomol [1] .
- January 1936 - October 1937 - 2nd Secretary of the Tatar Regional Committee of the CPSU (B.). This period was marked by the inclusion of a special troika created by order of the NKVD of the USSR dated 30.07.1937 No. 00447 [2] and active participation in the Stalinist repressions [3] [4] .
The final stage
Arrested on October 24, 1937. Sentenced to VMN VKVS USSR May 10, 1938. He was charged under Articles 58-2, 58-8, 58-11 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR . Shot on the day of sentencing. Rehabilitated January 12, 1957 [5] .
