Morrison, Glenn

Glenn Morrison ( born Glenn Morrison ; born September 12, 1985 ) is a Canadian producer and DJ. He is known for his tracks “Contact”, “No Sudden Moves”, “Colorblind”, “Goodbye” [1] . DJ and performer, he is entertained by the melodic house genre in a large club [2] .

Glenn received the support of other DJs John Diguit and Richie Hotin, David Getta , Tiesto . More than 400 shows participated and created 100 tracks, his tracks were recorded on such labels as Sony Music Entertainment, EMI , Ministry of Sound, Bedrock Records, Mau5trap, Songbird , Robbins Entertainment, Universal Music Germany and Time Records.

Morrison is the owner and founder of Alpine Mastering, a studio based in Toronto, Ontario. Through Alpine Mastering, Glenn Morrison worked on sound design for gaming companies such as Nintendo, EA Sports, Activision, and Rockstar. The collaboration with IMAX for electronic music focuses on the sound of visual effects. Morrison also works at Morrison Recordings, more than 400 records [3] were released on Morrison Recordings over five years and 95 releases with artists such as Deadmau5, 16 Bit Lolit, Gutterstylz, Robert Babich, Charlie May and Redanka. In 2016, Morrison Recordings was closed so Glenn could launch two new Leyba Light Records, and Fall From Grace Records.

Career

Glenn Morrison is a classically trained pianist. At the age of four, he began to compose and compete nationally through SMS, Kiwanis Music Festival, Richmond Hill Music Festival and ORMTA [4] . Morrison reached his ARCT through the Royal Conservatory at the age of 14. He then worked at Release Records for five years before creating his own label, Morrison Recordings. At around the age of 20, Morrison began producing electronic music, drawing lessons from close friends of Deadmau5 , Bruce Aisher, Peter Creek and Ariaan Olieroock. His first international hit was in 2007 when DJ Tiësto showed his track “Contract” on his compilation Finding Sunrise 6: Ibiza [5] , and he put it on top of the World Dance Charts. His hit single “Goodbye” was platinum twice and became number 1 for 11 consecutive weeks on the Canadian Billboard Charts [6] , as well as number 1 in Russia , Ukraine and Belarus on the Billboard Charts . "Goodbye" was the third highest grossing single for a radio game of all genres for 2014 in Canada .
