Story
The main character is a private detective Varg Veum. Unlike the characters of “cool detectives,” he is neither a first-class fighter nor a good shooter, so his main weapon is observation, resourcefulness and a sharp mind.

Criticism
The series has not gained much popularity in Russia, however, domestic observers respond very warmly about it. In particular, Gennady Sherstyankin wrote that the role of Varg Veum was performed “brilliantly” [1] .
