Biography
In 2005, she won the ASEAN Youth Championship among girls in the U18 age group. In 2010, she won the women's chess championship in Vietnam. In 2011, in Mashhad, she was the second at the individual women's chess championship in Asia, behind the winner Harika Dronavalli . In 2016, she won the zonal tournament of East Asian countries and qualified for the 2017 Women's World Chess Championship [3] .
In 2017, she made her debut in Tehran at the Women's World Chess Championship , where she defeated Leyla Javakhishvili in the first round, defeated Alexandra Goryachkina in the second round, and lost to Anna Muzychuk in the third round [4] .
She represented Vietnam at five chess olympiads (2008–2016), where she won the individual bronze medal ( 2010 ), and at three team world chess championships (2007–2011). She participated in the Asian team chess championships three times (☎, 2016). In the team event, she won the gold (2007) and bronze (2012) medals. In the individual event, she won the silver (2007) medal [5] . She participated in the women's team chess tournament in the Asian Games in 2010 and won the bronze medal in the team event [6] . She participated in the Women's Indoor Chess Team Championship of the Asian Games in 2009 and won the silver medal in the team event [7] .
Married to Vietnamese Chess Grandmaster Nguyen Ngok Cheong Shon .
