History

In the “List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire” of 1859, Razin Bugor (Razinskoe) is mentioned as a temporary settlement at the state-owned fish factory of the Astrakhan district (2nd camp) at the Razin barrow, located 92 versts from the provincial city of Astrakhan . There were 19 yards in the settlement and 121 people lived (65 men and 56 women) [3] .

Geography

The village is located in the southeastern part of the Astrakhan region, on the right bank of the Razinsky River delta of the Volga River , at a distance of about 23 kilometers (in a straight line) to the southeast from the village of Volodarsky , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 26 meters below sea ​​level [4] .
