Esra Ozatay ( Tour. Esra Özatay , born in 1976 in Germany ) is a Turkish pilot, the first woman to command the Turkish Air Force. [1] Since August 30, 2016 he has been the commander of the Turkish Stars aerobatic team, becoming the first woman commander of the military aerobatic team in the world.

Biography
Born in Germany, at birth she received the name Esra Ishchi. The daughter of Hajer-Mustafa Ishchi [2] . She studied at the schools of Beykoz and Istanbul with her sister, in 1992 she entered the Air Force Academy [3] , which she graduated in 1998. She worked as a pilot in the flight squadron F-5 + 7. From 2004 to 2010, she served as an instructor, from 2010 - an instructor in Turkish Stars [4] [5] [6] . In 2014, became part of the "Turkish Stars" as the first pilot in the aerobatic team and made its first flight in 2015 [7] ; received awards along with the entire aerobatic team from the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan [8] . In 2016, she began to command the aerobatic team; at one of the meetings with Erdogan gave him a mock plane [9] . Married, has two children.
