Biography
He was born on September 9, 1926 in Moscow, in the family of the lawyer Adolf Iosifovich Yudin (1896-1965), a famous Soviet lawyer.
In 1949 he graduated from the Moscow Law Institute , then he studied at the graduate school of this institute.
In 1953 he defended his thesis, topic: "The political basis of the people's democratic state in the countries of Central and Southeast Europe."
In 1976 he defended his doctoral dissertation, topic: “Political Systems of Independent Countries of Tropical Africa (State and Political Parties)”.
From 1957 to 1958, he worked as a senior editor at the editorial board of the Economics, Philosophy and Law publishing house of Moscow State University.
From 1958 to 2000, he worked at the Institute of State and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR , where he went from a junior research scientist to a chief research associate.
He died on June 26, 2000.
Scientific activity
Research interests: problems of the general theory of state and law, constitutional law of foreign countries.
He formulated a number of new theoretical provisions and conclusions on such problems as the social nature, the role and patterns of development of the state and political parties in Asia and Africa.
He made a significant contribution to the development of problems of the state structure of the countries of Africa and the Arab East.
The author of more than 100 scientific papers.
