“ Wanted Dead or Alive ” (“[I’m being searched for alive or dead”) is the song of the American rock band Bon Jovi from the 1986 album Slippery When Wet ^[1] . In March of the next, 1987, she was released as the third single from this album.

In the USA, the song reached 7th place (on the Billboard Hot 100 chart ) ^[1] .

Impact

According to the Songfacts site, it was this song that launched the very popular Unplugged series (acoustic concerts of various artists) on MTV . The fact is that the idea to make such a show came to the TV channel after in 1989 at the MTV Video Music Awards awards ceremony with this song were performed by John Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora . They were only two and performed to the accompaniment of only acoustic guitars, which came out ^[1] .
