Isabella Levina Lueen ( German: Isabella Levina Lueen ; born May 1, 1991 , Bonn , Germany ), better known as Levina, is a German singer and songwriter [1] . She represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev with the song “ Perfect Life ”, where she took 25th place with 6 points [2] [3] [4] .

Biography

Levina was born in Bonn , and was raised in Chemnitz . She attended Dr. Wilhelm André Grammar School, and graduated from Impington Village College in Cambridge, UK with an International Baccalaureate degree in 2009. Levine then moved to London, where she received her bachelor's degree from King's College London [5] .

In 2016, Levina was announced as one of 33 participants for the Unser Song 2017 contest [6] . January 6, 2017 was confirmed as one of the five finalists [7] . During the show, Levin performed the cover of “When We Were Young” [8] . She completed her promotion to the finals, performing the songs “Wildfire” and “Perfect Life”. The German public has chosen the last song as a winner. Levina will perform “Perfect Life” at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev. Since Germany is a member of the Big Five, it will automatically advance to the finals, which took place on May 13, 2017 [9] [10] .
