Alexander Walmann Osgården ( Norwegian: Aleksander Walmann Åsgården ; born January 12, 1986 , Porsgrunn , Norway ) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. He represented Norway at Eurovision 2017 with the song “ Grab the Moment ”, along with music producer JOWST .

Biography
Alexander was born in Porsgrunn , and grew up in a musical family. In 2012, he began taking part in the first season of The Voice - Norges beste stemme. But in the long run he finished second in the finals with Hege Overswin and Leif Anders Wenzel.
On February 7, 2017, Walmann and Norwegian singer JOWST confirmed that they will be participating in the Melodi Gran in 2017, Norway's national selection for Eurovision 2017 [1] . In the final on March 11, JOWST and Walmann received a maximum of 12 points out of four out of eleven international juries, in addition to winning the televoting [2] . Subsequently, they advanced to the gold finals, where they won the competition. [3] They represented Norway at the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. Norway competed in the second half of the second semi-final at the Eurovision Song Contest [4] [5] .
At Eurovision 2017 with the song " Grab the Moment " they took 10th place, gaining 158 points.
