Geography
The farm was located on the right bank of the Mokry Karamyk River, 9 km south-east of the village of Sablinsky .
History
Founded in 1913 as a farm Bukreevsky stanitsy of Alexandria. The farm consisted of 75 yards, in the possession of 3325 acres of land, including 3259 - comfortable. Administratively subordinated to the Alexandria yurt of the Pyatigorsk department of the Terek region [2] . In 1927 it is already listed as the village of Svobodnaya, the center of the Svobodnensky Village Council of the Alexandria district of the Terek district [3] .
Population
In 1914, 404 people lived on the farm (224 men and 180 women), 100% of the population were Russians [2] . According to the census of 1926, 566 people lived in the village (262 men and 304 women), the predominant nationality is the Great Russians [3] .
