Triana Park is a Latvian group consisting of vocalist Agnes Rakovskaya, guitarist Arthur Strautins, drummer Edgar Viljums and bassist Kristap Erglis. They represented Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the song Line [1] , they also previously tried to represent the country in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The group took part in the most significant music festivals in Latvia - Positivus, LMT Summer Sound, Fonofest, Playground 333 and others, as well as in international ones - Siirt Gapgenc, Reepenbahn. Also participated in many international music conferences - SXSW, Eurosonic Noordeslag, Waves Bratislava, Waves Vienna.
History
The group was formed by Agnes Rakovskaya and her father (Aivars Rakovskis), they were joined by Edgars Viliums, Kristaps Erglis and ultimately Arthurs Strautins They tried to represent Latvia at Eurovision in 2008 (Bye, 4th place), 2009 (Call Me Any Time You Need A Problem, 4th place), 2010, 2011 and 2012, failing to win the Eirodziesma (Latvian national selection). In 2011, their song “Upside Down” qualified for the finals of the qualifying round, but the group refused to participate due to the fact that Rakovska fell ill. The debut studio album Triana Park EnterTainment was released in 2010, and in August 2014 the band introduced EP Triana Park, including the lead single Iron Blue.
The group participated in Supernova to represent Latvia with the song Line and was selected for Eurovision 2017 by public vote with a score of 51.56%. Ultimately, it was announced that they would participate in the first semi-final on May 9, 2017 at the International Exhibition Center in Kiev, Ukraine.
