Geography
The village is located near the Pestyaki-Ivanovo road, 7 kilometers from Pestyakov . It is in the way of regular bus service.
Internal Division
Consists of 3 streets: Central, Green and Forest.
History
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Lower Landekhov volost of the Gorokhovets district of Vladimir province , and since 1925 it was part of the Pestyakov volost of the Shuisk district of Ivanovo-Voznesenskaya province . In 1859 [2] there were 23 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 32 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Filat village council of the Landekhovsky district , since 1931 - as part of the Pestyakovsky district , since 2005 - as part of the Pestyakovsky rural settlement .

The population is forced to leave to work in neighboring settlements. In particular, there is a pendulum migration to Pestyaki and vice versa, in which teachers and employees of Pestyakovo enterprises participate.
Infrastructure
In the village there are Filat primary school (operating since 1912) and a club. Equipment for the club was purchased under the program "Rural Disco".
Ethnographic location
Fillets belong to the Pestyakovsky ethnic section of the Landekhov-Mugreevsky ethnographic zone of the Suzdal land [4] .
