Biography

Successfully participated in the junior championships of Europe and the world. In 1988, she took second place at the junior world championship among girls in the age group U16. In 1989, she repeated this success in the age group U18. In 1990, she won the junior world championship among girls in the age group U18. In 1992, she was second at the Junior World Championship among girls in the U20 age group. In 1995, in Chisinau, she took part in an interzonal tournament [1] .

A multiple participant in the women's chess championships in Romania, in which she won 2 gold (1992, 2010), 3 silver (1991, 1994, 2012) and 2 bronze (2000, 2014) medals [2] .

Three times she won the international women's chess tournament in Bucharest (1991, 1993, 1994). In 2006, she divided the first place at the international women's chess tournament in Marseille .

She represented Romania at eleven chess olympiads (1990–2000, 2008–2016), where she won the silver medal in the individual competition (1998), and at the eight European team chess championships (1992–2001, 2009-2015), where she won the silver medal silver (1997) and bronze (1999), and in the individual competition two gold (both in 1999) medals. In 2013, she represented Romania at the World Team Chess Championship .
