Elomeryx's body length was about 1.5 meters. They had elongated heads, a bit like a horse's. They had small fangs that they could use for rooting, and spoon-shaped incisors suitable for feeding aquatic plants. They had five toes on their hind legs and four on their front legs. It turned out wide feet to walk on soft mud. Apparently, their lifestyle was similar to the lifestyle of modern hippos [2] .
