History
The publishing house was created in 1943 by the president of Syracuse University, William Pearson Tolly and entrepreneur Thomas John Watson .
He is a member of the Association of American University Publishers . [one]
Publishing Activity
The publishing house is engaged in release of the scientific literature in such areas, as Middle East researches , indianism , the study of the world and conflict , Irish studies, Judaica , television and popular culture , sports and leisure . [2] The publishing house received an international prize in the field of Middle Eastern and Irish research. [3]
Awards
In 2017, the publisher received the Humanities Open Book Program award. [four]
