Bashkir Komsomol (Encyclopedia)

October 24, 2014 in the Scientific and Publishing Complex "Bashkir Encyclopedia" a meeting was held dedicated to the preparation of the encyclopedia "Bashkir Komsomol", which was attended by Komsomol veterans, representatives of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Environment and Ecology of the Republic of Belarus.

General Director of the Scientific and Publishing Complex Wil'dan Gilmanovich Saitov spoke about the relevance and importance of issuing an encyclopedic publication on the eve of the 95th anniversary of the Bashkir Komsomol, presented the concept, structure of the publication, and the criteria for selecting articles ^[3] .

The history of the Komsomol is an integral part of the history of Russia and the Soviet Union . Komsomol arose during the struggle against the old system in the flames of the Civil War in the turbulent years of the revolution. The encyclopedia shows the contribution of the Komsomol in the development of the republic and the main stages of formation, the activities of the Bashkir Komsomol.

The book describes the period from the beginning of the 20th century to 1990 from the formation of the first youth associations, the activities of the Komsomol organizations in the years of industrialization and collectivization , the years of the Great Patriotic War and the period of the national economy recovery. Special attention is paid to the role of Komsomol members in the development of public life, such as the active participation of Komsomol members of Bashkortostan in shock Komsomol construction projects and student groups .

The biographical articles provide information about the first secretaries, heads of departments, instructors of the Bashkir regional committee of the Komsomol, workers of district and city Komsomol organizations. Many students of the Komsomol subsequently became leaders, such as editors of republican youth, children's newspapers, magazines, television and radio editorial offices, heads of large enterprises, scientists, entrepreneurs, and heads of administrations of cities and regions.

For the encyclopaedia “Bashkir Komsomol”, the State Autonomous Institution of Science of the Republic of Belarus “Bashkir Encyclopedia” of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus won the “Book of the Year” competition held during the Interregional Festival of the National Book “Reading World” on October 3-7, 2017 in Ryazan, the institution was awarded the diploma “ For his contribution to the patriotic education of youth " ^{[4] [5] [6]} .
