Kichik Gala Street ( Azeri. Kiçik Qala küçəsi - Small Fortress) - a street in Baku, in the Old Town , from Asaf Zeynalli Street at the Salyan Gate to Boyuk Gala Street ( Shamakhi Gate ).

Content
History
One of the oldest streets of the city [1] . On the old Russian plans of the city was called the Great Fortress [2] . It runs along the inner side of the western and northern parts of the defensive walls of the city . These walls were rebuilt many times, but it is considered [3] , which is approximately at the same places.
Because of the large number of baths located here, the area of the street was called the bathhouse (Hamamchylar). There was also an indoor water pool (ovdan).
The ancient residential buildings of the street have not been preserved. After the capture of Baku in 1806 by Russian troops along the street, barracks for Russian soldiers, which have reached our days, were built, later adapted for residential buildings.
The street was hit by an earthquake of 2000 , some of the buildings on the street collapsed, in particular 4/6 [4]

Cinema Street
A series of scenes from the film “The Diamond Hand ” was shot on the street (transferring an umbrella cane with smuggling to a courier, the fall of Semen Semenovich Gorbunkov and Geshi and their meetings with smugglers at 8, the pharmacy Chikanuk) [13] .
