Born in Nagasaki . Since 1967, she starred in the films of the pink eiga genre, at first she played supporting roles. Although the first roles played by Shirakawa were characterized as criticized as “green”, she excelled the main characters of the films with her acting performance [3] . It was at the end of the 1960s that the image of a “naive whore” [4] was formed that was characteristic of Syracava. Naivety was not simulated, in an interview for the book "Book Cinematheque" Shirakawa admitted that she lost her virginity only in 1971 [5] .
By 1968, Kazuko Shirakawa starred in the low-budget soft films Pink Eig. In the film “Top Secret Report on Japanese Customs and Manners: Breasts”, Shirakawa plays the role of an innocent geisha, however, the plot in this film is not so important, as his “main goal was to demonstrate Kazuko Shirakawa's impressive chest as often as possible” [4] . Shirakawa later said of her roles played during this period: “I was scared to death. I did not know how to play the excitement of these parts of my body ” [5] .
In 1969, Kazuko Shirakawa played in the movie "Hunting Breasts", the film failed at the box office, but later became a cult [6] .
In the early 1970s, the Nikkatsu company came to the kick-eig genre. For most actresses who previously worked for other companies, the studio demanded to change the names under which they are removed, but this requirement did not affect Sirakawa [7] . Kazuko Shirakawa played a major role in the film “Apartment Wife: Affair In The Afternoon”, shot in November 1971, the first Nikkatsu movie in the pink eiga genre [8] . The film was a huge success and made Shirakawa “the first mega star to kick ayga of the 1970s.” [6] . Over the next seven years, 20 sequels were shot from the film, and this film also led to the creation of the whole sub-genre, “Roman Porn” [ 9] .
In 1973, Shirakawa stopped acting in the pink eiga genre. Since 1976, she starred in ordinary films. Played in a number of movie series. She also played in three films of Shokhei Imamura , as well as in the film “ After Life ” by Hirokazu Koreeda [10] .
