Build (developer conference)

Build (stylized spelling: // build / ) is an annual business conference hosted by Microsoft , the audience of which is programmers and web developers using Windows , Windows Phone , Microsoft Azure and other Microsoft technologies. The first conference was held in 2011, succeeding other Microsoft events - the (an occasional conference dedicated to developing applications for Windows) and (a web development conference with a focus on Microsoft Silverlight and ASP. NET ).

In 2011, the conference was held from September 13 to 16 in Anaheim . Main topics: Windows 8 , Windows Server 2012 and Visual Studio 2012 [1] ; preliminary versions of these operating systems for developers were presented here, participants were given Samsung tablets with Windows 8 Developer Preview preinstalled.
