Biography
He received his primary education in secondary school No. 12 of the city of Leninabad.
In 1942, after graduating from high school, he voluntarily enrolled in the Red Army, participated in the Great Patriotic War.
After the war, he began his career with the Canning Plant in Leninabad , where until 1949 he worked in various positions. In absentia he graduated from the Leninabad State Pedagogical Institute.
- 1949-1951 Assistant Director of the Federal Law No. 7 of the Leninabad Region.
- 1951-1955 instructor of the industry department of the Leninabad regional committee.
- 1955-1956 Head industrial transport department of the Leninabad city committee.
- 1956-1957 head of the regional industrial council of the Leninabad region.
- 1958-1960 Director of the HPP "Friendship of Peoples" in Kairakkum.
- 1960-1966 head of the local industry department of the Leninabad region, secretary of the party committee of the production collective and state farm administration.
From 1966 to 1971, the first secretary of the Leninabad city party committee.
1971-13.01.1987 - First Secretary of the Leninabad Regional Party Committee
In 1987, he retired and until 1997 worked as a chairman of the Council of Veterans of War and Labor of the Leninabad Region.
Member of the Supreme Council of the USSR VII, VIII, IX, X, XI convocations. The delegate of the XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVI, XXVII congresses of the CPSU.
He was awarded the orders of World War II, two orders of Lenin, three orders of the Red Banner of Labor, the Order of the October Revolution, the Order of Friendship of Peoples and many other medals.
During the years of leadership of the Leninabad region, Rifat Khodzhiev created dozens of industrial enterprises, tens of thousands of hectares of new land were irrigated, which until now are used in favor of the population of the Leninabad region (this Sogd).
Family life
Married. Wife - Mukhtaramniso Salomova, died in 2007, five children, fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
