Biography
Born June 3, 1879 in Moscow. He enrolled and graduated from the Moscow Theological Academy, the staff left a graduate at home and he subsequently taught there. He worked for about 25 years in the Central Archives of Moscow and was a full member of the archaeological and genealogical societies of Moscow and the commission for the study of old Moscow. During the formation of the RSFSR, he got a job at the Center Archive . December 7, 1933 was arrested on false charges of counter-revolutionary activity in the case of the Russian National Party. He was sentenced to three years of exile in Kazakhstan, which he served the whole term. In October 1964 he was rehabilitated.
He died on May 6, 1939 in Moscow. He was buried in the 29th section of the Danilovsky cemetery.
