Huang Changzhou ( Chinese ex. П , pinyin : Huáng Chángzhōu ; born August 20, 1994 , Guanhan , Sichuan , China ) is a Chinese long-distance athlete. Bronze medalist at the 2016 Indoor World Championships . Champion of Asia ( 2017 ). Member of the 2016 Summer Olympics .

Biography
Before coming to athletics, Huang Changzhou was involved in basketball (at 13 years old, his height was 175 cm). Due to his high physical and coordination abilities, he progressed quite quickly in the triple jump and by the age of 17 he entered the national team [1] .
In 2013, the famous American coach Randy Huntington arrived in China to train world record holder Mike Powell . His group included the country's strongest jumpers, among whom was Juan [2] . As a result of joint work in 2014, he first jumped longer than 8 meters - 8.12 meters at competitions in Beijing .
He made his debut for the national team at the Asian Championships in 2015 , having made three runs in the qualification and completed the tournament without result.
In 2016, at the national Grand Prix in Nanjing, he set a personal record of 8.19 m [3] . He managed to improve this result three weeks later at the indoor indoor championship : with a jump of 8.21 meters, he became the bronze medalist of the tournament.
He participated in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he took 11th place in the final with a score of 7.86 m.
In 2017, he won the Asian Championship - the 8.09 m jump was victorious.The performance at the world championship a month later turned out to be unsuccessful (24th place in the qualification), but they managed to finish the season with another victory. Huang Changzhou became the best in the long jump at the 13th All- China Games in Tianjin with a personal record of 8.28 m.
