Recipe
Ravioli is made from unleavened dough in the form of a crescent, ellipse or square with a curly cut edge. Then they can either boil or fry in oil, in the second case they are served with broths or soups . The filling can be meat, fish, poultry, vegetables or fruits.
History
Ravioli is mentioned in Italian literature from the 13th century until the return of Marco Polo from China , and at first it was considered a Sicilian dish, which probably indicates the borrowing of this dish from other Mediterranean peoples [1] .
Whether China is the ancestral home of all such dishes ( dumplings , poses , dumplings , manti ( Mandu ), etc.), or whether they were invented by different peoples at different times on their own, is a controversial issue in the history of culinary.
