Ityakeskus (Helsinki)

Itäkeskus ( Fin. Itäkeskus , Swede. Östra centrum ) is a district in the eastern part of the city of Helsinki .

The Helsinki metro station Ityakeskus [2] operates in the district and one of the largest shopping centers , Ityakeskus , is located.

A significant number of Russian-speakers live in the district, in connection with which, in 1997, the Russian Orthodox Nikolsky parish opened the house church of St. Ksenia the Blessed in the district, and in the 2000s began the construction of the St. Nicholas Resurrection Cathedral complex [3] .
