Mesila Doda ( Alb. Mesila Doda , born February 6, 1971 in Kukes ) is an Albanian politician, member of the Albanian National Assembly since 2001, one of the founders of the Democratic Party of Albania.

Biography
She studied economics at the University of Tirana and philosophy at the University of Rome. Politics began her career in 1991 during student protests that led to the resignation of the Albanian Labor Party from power. Doda worked as a journalist and TV presenter, speaking from various political positions. She founded the Democratic Party of Albania, in 2001 passed in the Parliament of Albania. In 2016, she left the party by writing an open letter, stating that she regrets leaving the party, which she created 25 years ago [1] . Since 2016, she has been a member of the Party for Justice, Integration and Unity, protecting the rights of the Albanians of Chameria [2] . Doda is a Catholic believer and defender of traditional values: she has repeatedly opposed the legalization of marijuana, prostitution and the protection of the rights of the LGBT movement, for which she was criticized and condemned by human rights defenders [3] .
