Biography
Born April 11, 1902 in Kaluga in the family of a medical assistant. Entered and graduated from the Kaluga Construction College and the architectural department of the Siberian Polytechnic Institute in Tomsk in 1929. In 1929 he moved to Moscow and served as architect-designer until 1941. During these years he carried out the construction of more than 30 architectural objects in Moscow and the Moscow region.
In 1941, in connection with the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, he was drafted into the army, was wounded and rewarded with the Order of the Red Star [1] and medals. [2]
Since the end of 1945, he worked in the Inspectorate of State Protection of Monuments of the Moscow Regional Executive Committee , examined hundreds of architectural monuments, drafted restoration projects for a number of manors near Moscow. From 1951 to 1962 he worked at the Central Scientific and Restoration Workshops of the USSR Academy of Architecture.
He died on October 25, 1980 in Moscow. Cremated, an urn with ashes buried in the Columbarium of the Vagankovsky cemetery (section number 16, niche 91).
