Biography
Born September 11, 1920 in the village. Dead [1] .
In 1943 he graduated with honors from Moscow State University. In 1943-1945 - a geologist in the Mama exploration expedition (Irkutsk region).
From 1946 to 1949 - studied at the graduate school at the Institute of Geological Sciences of the USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1949 to the end of his life, he worked at the Far Eastern Geological Institute of the Far Eastern Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences, moving from a junior researcher in the geology sector to the acting deputy director for science at the Far Eastern Research Institute of the Far Eastern Scientific Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1952-1957).
He died on August 17, 1997.
Full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (1992).
Full member of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts (1995).
Scientific activity
In 1950 he defended his PhD (“Mineralogy of the Sartadon Tungsten Deposit of Central Asia”), in 1947 - his doctoral dissertation (“Physical and chemical conditions of mineral formation and geochemistry of the ore process associated with granitoids (using the example of ore regions of the Far East)”). Professor (1978).
He conducted scientific research in the Far East, exploring rare-metal fluorite deposits in the Voznesensky region of Primorye, described the process of greensization of carbonate rocks, and introduced the concept of “apocarbonate greisens” into scientific terminology.
Received previously unknown complex compounds of niobium and beryllium, in the composition of which these metals could be transported by hydrothermal solutions.
He studied the ore-bearing problem of granite magmas, the chemistry of ore-bearing solutions, the allocation of geochemical fields and their various types, developed methods for the quantitative calculation of ion-mineral equilibria in hydrothermal conditions.
In the 1980s, he conducted research in the field of geology, petrology and metallogeny of the World Ocean.
The author of more than 150 scientific publications, including 15 monographs.
Under his leadership, more than 30 master's theses were defended.
