Laboum (cor .: 라붐; stylized under LABOUM ) is a South Korean women's group that debuted in 2014 under the leadership of NH Media and the joint venture Global H Media Nega Network. The title was taken from the French film La Boum.

Biography
2014: Debut with Petit Macaron
In August 2014, NH Media and Nega Network announced the upcoming debut of a women's group called Laboum, which has been training for four years. The group was advertised as a sister group for U-KISS NH Media and Brown Eyed Girls from the Nega Network.
Laboum released their debut EP, Petit Macaron, on August 28, 2014, after releasing their video for the title track “Pit-A-Pat”. The song was written by So Ji Yom, famous for the hits written: “Electric Shock” f (x) and “Twinkle” TaeTiSeo, and the creation of music was organized by Jong Jae Yo.
On October 24, the band announced their return from Petit Macaron DATA PACK, re-release of Petit Macaron with additional digital content and reworking the track “What About You?”. On October 31, the band returned to Music Bank and released a music video featuring a puppet theme. November 3 album Petit Macaron DATA PACK.
2015: Sugar Sugar and Aalow Aalow
At the end of February 2015, ZN starred with Kevin from U-KISS in two episodes of “Milky Love”, a drama about love. Both episodes were released on March 2 on Naver TV Cast.
On March 16, the group announced a return with a more mature, but renewing, concept in Sugar Sugar, which will be the theme of a girl's party. On August 14, a single came out accompanying the EP and music video. Yuzhong was a guest of the May episode of the popular radio program "Kiss the Radio", organized by Super Junior.
In June, Sllbin took part in the entertainment show Her Secret Weapon. The show focused on lesser-known members of the women's group and assessed them based on their performances in specific tasks that emphasize the qualities of female idols necessary to create loyal fans. Of the ten contestants, Solbin competed with Tahea from Berry Good, finishing sixth.
On November 26, 2015, Laboum uploaded a music video for the return single “Aalow Aalow” to the YouTube channel's official channel. The video was released on December 1st and featured an elegant but funky retro look. On December 4, the group held a show called Aalow Aalow at the Music Bank. The EP was officially released on December 6th.
2016 - Present: Makestar campaign, Fresh Adventure and Love Sign
On February 15, 2016, Laboum launched a campaign to fund its upcoming crowdfunding music video from Makestar. Among other awards, the group received the title of "Honorary Producer." The campaign reached its goal of $ 8,261 in just four hours.
The makestar campaign ultimately garnered 27.832 - 336.9% of the original goal. On April 6, 2016, the band released a video for the song “Journey to Atlantis” and the accompanying EP Fresh Adventure.
On August 9, 2016, the group announced its return. After long waits, they released the video for the song “Shooting Love”, as well as the accompanying EP Love Sign from August 23, 2016.
