Anisodon grande is an extinct species of the subfamily Chalicotheriinae of the chalicotherium family. The only species of the genus Anisodon . He lived in Europe at the end of the Miocene . The height at the withers is about 150 cm and the weight is about 600 kg. These animals had clawed forelimbs, with which they could bend tree branches and eat leaves, as well as scare away Miocene predators, such as amphicids and saber-toothed cats .
