Nikolai Petrovich Bocharov ( 1832 , ??? - March 17, 1912 , Moscow , Russian Empire ) - Russian local historian and statistician scientist ^[1] .

Biography

Born in 1832 . He got a job and worked for a long time as a secretary in the Moscow Statistical Committee ^[2] . In 1864, under his editorship, a collection of materials was published for the study of Moscow and the Moscow province ^[3] ^[1] .

November 17, 1864 was elected a corresponding member of the Imperial Archaeological Society, and March 16, 1871 was elected a member of this society ^[2] .

In 1896, he published a brochure dedicated to the 750th anniversary of Moscow. He was the publisher of the Moscow newspaper ^[4] . An employee of the newspapers "Russian Leaf", " Moscow Leaf " and others ^[5] .

He died on March 17, 1912 in Moscow. He was buried at the Vagankovsky cemetery ^[2] .

The archive of N.P. Bocharov is stored in funds of personal origin of the Department of Written Sources of the State Historical Museum ^[5] .
