Biography
Born on September 15, 1917 in the village of Kashkar, Mamadyshsky District, Kazan Province, in a large peasant family.
He served in the Far East, where he remained after demobilization.
He worked at Glavvladivostokstroi as a worker, carpenter, foreman at various sites for the construction of urban facilities.
From 1958 to 1981 he led the integrated team of carpenters Zhilstroy-1 of the Trust of Glavvladivostokstry. Objects built with the participation of Novozhilov in the city of Vladivostok are: the so-called “building” streets in Pervomaisky district , Sportivnaya street, Oleg Koshevogo street, a park in Minniy town , Fadeev street, the “Seafood” complex, Academgorodok buildings.
In 1974, it was Novozhilov who, on behalf of the builders, handed the symbolic key from the constructed building of the Vladivostok circus to its first director, Anatoly Buberko. [one]
Rewards and recognition
Hero of Socialist Labor (1971). Honored Builder of the RSFSR. Also awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1968).
Honorary citizen of the city of Vladivostok (03/21/1968) - among the first eight awarded this title.
Memory
In 1985, 4th Construction Street in Vladivostok was named the “Builder Novozhilov”. [2]
