Content
Biography
During 1987 - 1989 he served in the Soviet Army . In 2005 he graduated from Vinnitsa Polytechnic Institute . He worked as a installer at the Zhmerynsky factory "Sector".
Mobilized in August 2014 , deputy chief of the first border outpost, Mogilev-Podolsky border detachment.
Doom
The armed groups of the LPR , reinforced by artillery and tanks, on February 17, 2015, stormed the checkpoint in Fashchevka near Debaltseve . At the beginning of shelling, Semenov jumped out of the dugout to check the situation. At that time, a tank of militias fired at point-blank border guards. Semyonov fragment broke through the back plate of the body armor and went under the right shoulder blade. The commander was brought to the dugout, he was still alive. He died in the arms of a doctor. When the body was evacuated, a shell hit the BMP , the car caught fire and remained in the territory controlled by the militia.
He was buried in Zhmerynka .
Family
Was married. He had two daughters.
Rewards
- The title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Golden Star Order ( March 11, 2016 , posthumous) - for exceptional personal courage and heroism shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, fidelity to the military oath [1] .
