Biography
He was born on February 8, 1909 in the village of Talitsa, now as part of the city akimat of the Families of the East Kazakhstan Region of the Republic of Kazakhstan , into a peasant family. Russian [3] .
He worked in the household, then on the collective farm. In 1931 - 1934 he served in the Red Army . During the service he graduated from educational programs . After demobilization, he returned home, worked again on the collective farm. In 1937 he transferred to the Verkhneirtysh Shipping Company , worked as a foreman on the Irtysh River [3] .
In June 1941, he was again drafted into the army by the Zhanasemeysky district military enlistment office of the Semipalatinsk region. Since September of that year he participated in battles with invaders. By the summer of 1944, he fought in the 837th Infantry Regiment of the 238th Infantry Division . Its composition went to the end of the war [3] .
On June 23, 1944, the machine gunner’s commander, Junior Sergeant Kuznetsov crossed the Basya river near the village of Skvarsk (Chausky district of the Mogilev region, Belarus), one of the first to burst into the enemy’s trench and cut 8 Hitlerites from a machine gun. On June 27, near the city of Mogilev, he overcame the Dnieper River and supported the crossing of rifle units with machine-gun fire. On June 28, he destroyed 12 enemy soldiers in street battles in the city. By order of September 4, 1944, Kuznetsov was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree [3] .
In September 1944, the Red Armyman Kuznetsov fought already charging batteries of a 45-mm battery of the same regiment. On September 14, in battle, with his clear and trouble-free operation, he ensured accurate firing. He was awarded the medal "For Military Merit" [3] .
On January 28-30, 1945, in the battles for the village of Ridbach and the city of Bischofsburg (now the city of Biskupets, Poland), Corporal Kuznetsov, direct-fire, suppressed 3 machine gun points that impeded the advance of the shooters. By order of the 238th Infantry Division dated September 4, 1944, Corporal Kuznetsov Alexander Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree (repeatedly) [4] .
On March 10, 1945, during the occupation of the city of Carthouse (now Kartuzy of the Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland), Corporal Kuznetsov, with his own calculation, destroyed a machine gun and up to 25 enemy soldiers. On March 13, with the reflection of 5 enemy counterattacks, he destroyed 2 easel and 2 light machine guns and up to 15 Nazis. By order of the 49th Army on April 30, 1945, Corporal Kuznetsov was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree [3]
In November 1945 he was demobilized. He returned to his homeland. Worked as a foreman on the Irtysh River, since 1957 as an engineer in the Semipalatinsk City Water Canal. Since 1968, retired [3] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 24, 1971, the order of September 4, 1944 was canceled and Kuznetsov was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree , becoming the full holder of the Order of Glory [3] .
He lived in the city of Semipalatinsk (now Semey , Kazakhstan). He died in 1988 [3] .
