Story
The girl Varvarushka did not obey her grandmother, went into the forest for mushrooms and got lost. She found a hut in the thicket of the forest. And in that hut lived three bears, who had gone home that day. The bear harvested firewood, the bear collected raspberries, and the bear played and ate raspberries. Varvarushka went into the hut and saw a table and three chairs, on the table - three bowls. The girl ate porridge, swayed in a small chair and broke it. Then she saw three beds - large, smaller, and even smaller. She jumped on the big bed, then on the next, and lay on the small bed and fell asleep. Soon, the owners returned home. We saw a mess on the table and a broken chair. Teddy bear found a sleeping girl in his bed and screamed. Varvarushka woke up, saw the bears, jumped out the window and rushed home. [one]
About the cartoon
For almost 20 years, Roman Davydov worked as an animator with the leading directors of the studio. And then, like many of our masters, he made a natural step in directing. His debut is the puppet film "Ballad on the table" (1956) and in the same year - "Gingerbread Man". In 1958, Three Bears. Indeed, all his passions are intertwined in fairy tales - Russian history and culture, smart and vibrant "beasts" characters.
- Natalia Venzher “Our cartoons” [2]
In the mid-1950s, in the paintings of R. V. Davydov (“Ballad on the Table” (1955), “Gingerbread Man” (1956), etc.), the manufacture of replaceable volumetric phases of movement (“volumetric shifting”) finds application. By this time, the production of voluminous cartoons had already been launched at a fairly high level - this is evidenced by the work of such directors as Vladimir Degtyarev ( Wonderful Well , 1956; Beauty Beloved , 1958), Anatoly Karanovich and Roman Kachanov ( Loving Cloud ) , 1959), Roman Davydov (" Gingerbread Man ", 1956; "Three Bears", 1958).
